The Tabcorp Warrnambool May Racing Carnival is the biggest country racing carnival in Australia. It plays host to three massive days of racing, including the internationally renowned Flying Horse Bar and Brewery Grand Annual Steeplechase. This is longest race in Australia being run over 5500m, and with 33 jumps, has the most obstacles of any race in the Southern Hemisphere.
Wednesday of the carnival sees the running of the $101,000 Sungold Milk Galleywood Hurdle over 3200m and the listed $126,000 Scott Petroleum Wangoom Handicap over 1200m.
