WEDDING FACILITIES
 
Thank you for considering the Warrnambool Racing Club to host the most important day of your life. The Club has two facilities available for weddings, the Matilda Room and the Public Dining Room (PDR). Download application forms and our Wedding Planner from the list below.
 
 
The Matilda Room is a modern $2.2 million venue boasting first class facilities including elevator, disabled amenities, reverse cycle air conditioning, public address system, closed circuit video system, fully functional bar and kitchen and in-house caterer. The room caters for up to 200 guests and has a wide variety of menus and beverage options available. All Matilda Room wedding functions come with standard round table setting including, all crockery, cutlery and glassware. The Public Dining Room is located underneath the original racecourse grandstand and dates back to the late 1800's. Built from local sandstone, it has red brick cobblestone floors and two separate bars. The room has a wonderful ambience and seats up to 250 guests. Its services include a fully operational kitchen, toilet amenities and furniture. This option allows the hirer to self cater for both food and beverage options or alternatively the Club's caterers can be used. You can then calculate the cost per person or make an appointment to discuss your individual needs so we can tailor make a package to suit.

CONFERENCE FACILITIES
 
The Warrnambool Racing Club have three rooms available for conferences ranging from groups of 10 up to groups of 200. The Club can tailor a conference package according to you needs, feel free to contact us for a quote for your next work function.

The Matilda Room is a multi faceted function centre, including elevator for disabled access, full public address system, bar and kitchen facilities and loads of parking. The room has fantastic views of the historic Warrnambool Racecourse with an ultra modern feel. Up to 200 delegates can be catered for in theatre style or seated at tables. Function menu options are available upon request.
 
The Members Lounge offers clients a more relaxed atmosphere to host up to 60 guests in theatre style or 40 seated. The room has elevator and ramp facilities for disabled access, full bar facilities and ample parking. Clients can self cater for events or alternatively menu options are available upon request.
 
The Stewards Room is the heartbeat of any racecourse, the scene of race result protests and a place that many jockeys fear. Part of the newest addition to the Warrnambool Racecourse the room is set up in boardroom style and suitable for up to 14 delegates. Clients can self cater for events or alternatively menu options are available from the Club upon request.
 
CLUB GROUNDS
 
The spacious surrounds of the Warrnambool Racecourse can be utilised by members and the general public by appointment only. Enquire today to see if the WRC grounds could be suitable for you next event.
 
Blanketed with lush grass, manicured gardens and ample parking, the course can host various outdoor events such as:

  • Open Air Concerts
