WARRNAMBOOL RACECOURSE
CHARACTERISTICS
The Warrnambool Racecourse is situated in a picturesque valley on the eastern outskirts of the coastal city of Warrnambool. The course propper is an expansive course with a circumference of 2035m, sweeping turns and a generous straight of 260m. In 2008 the Club celebrated its 150th anniversary at the current Grafton Road site.
The image above outlines the dimensions of the course including Brierly and Granter paddocks. The paddocks form part of the unique steeple course that has helped bring international acclaim to the 'Bool'.
